Sherone is a native of Jamaica and competes in the WomenâÂÂs 100m, Women'ÂÂs 4 x 100m relay, and the Women'ÂÂs 200m at the Olympic level. Simpson has had a stellar career for Jamaica in the Olympic Games. In the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she won gold in the Women'ÂÂs 4 x 100 relay. In 2008, she won the silver medal in the Women'ÂÂs 100m. And in the 2012 games, Sherone won the silver medal in the Women'ÂÂs 4 x 100m relay. Sherone'ÂÂs PB in the 100m and 200m came in 2006 when she ran a time of 10.82 and 22.00, respectively.
