Paul is a native of Athenry, Galway, Ireland and trains with the Athenry Athletic Club. Hession competes in the Men’s 200m for the Irish Olympic Team. Paul ran the 200m in two Olympic Games 2008 and 2012. In 2008, Paul posted a qualifying time of 20.32 and that was good enough to earn him a spot in the quarterfinals of the Olympics. In 2012, he posted a qualifying time of 20.69 ranking 5th that year.
