Track and field fans can now have a look into the life of Olympic hurdler Queen Harrison as she prepares for London. Harrison’s website, www.queenharrison.com, shares her latest videos, pictures, competition schedule, and social media feeds. The website also contains a link to her blog, goqueengo.blogspot.com.
Harrison is excited about interacting directly with fans.
“I really look forward to keeping everyone updated on my life and everything that I have going on. The website is a great way to keep everybody up on my track career, and the blog lets me share things in my personal life.”
Last season, Harrison overcame injuries early in the year to place runner-up at the USA Championships 400-meter hurdle event. She went on to reach the semi-finals at the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
The former Bowerman Award Winner competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 400-meter hurdles. As a 19-year-old, Harrison was the youngest track and field Olympian on Team USA.
Harrison’s next competition will take place March 31 at the Jim Click Shootout in Tucson, Ariz.
